Khansaheb Facilities Management is proud to have won the Sustainable FM Company of the Year award at the Innovation in Facilities Management Awards 2024. This prestigious recognition celebrates our commitment to sustainability and innovation in the facilities management industry.
In 2023, we made significant strides, reducing carbon emissions by 30.6% and cutting paper consumption by 34.8% through our paperless project. We also optimized route planning, which reduced fuel consumption by 31%, and began transitioning to electric vehicles for staff.
One of our most notable achievements was our waste recycling program, which saw a dramatic increase from 1.08 tons in 2022 to 149.1 tons in 2023. This helped divert waste from landfills, avoiding 149 tons of CO2 emissions. Additionally, we repurposed 25,000 plastic bottles into T-shirts, further tackling plastic pollution.
Our success has been bolstered by key partnerships, including our “Less Plastic, More Water” initiative, which earned an Outstanding Partnership Award for reducing plastic waste through reusable water bottles. Across all contracts, we focused on reducing energy consumption by 50% with the installation of LED panel lights.
These accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our employees, who actively contributed to our sustainability goals through initiatives like the Sustainability Tree.
